What a dedicated development team engagement looks like
CoderCart · 2026-08-22
A dedicated team is not staff augmentation with a new name. It is a pod that behaves like part of your product organization: same standups, same backlog, same definition of done—while CoderCart retains engineering standards and delivery discipline.
We typically start with a short alignment sprint: codebase access, environments, coding conventions, release process, and the outcomes for the first 30–60 days. Without that, 'embedded' devolves into ticket-taking.
Team shape follows the product. A common pod might include a senior full-stack engineer, a frontend-focused engineer, and periodic architecture or QA support. Exact composition is scoped per engagement—we do not sell a fixed headcount template.
US-friendly overlap matters. EST/PST standups, written status, and demo cadence keep stakeholders informed without midnight fire drills. NDA and IP handling are part of the operating model, not an afterthought.
Dedicated teams work best when you have product direction in-house—PM, founder, or CTO—and need capacity you can trust. If you need full discovery and product definition first, a project-based phase often comes before a long-running pod.
