Freight logistics relied on phone, email, and fragmented tools. Shippers struggled to find carriers, negotiations had no audit trail, and fleets lacked centralized shipment visibility.
The solution
A production freight marketplace connecting shippers, carriers, and brokers with booking, negotiation, fleet dashboards, and real-time tracking.
Implementation
Next.js/React front end with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Socket.io broadcasts live shipment updates. Role-based access for shipper, carrier, broker, driver, and admin. Stateful negotiation with bid, counter-offer, expiry, and acceptance.
